"Distance 2" is an exploration of the primordial—of the raw, untamed power of nature and the tension between stillness and violence.
Unlike Distance, this work reaches even further back: to something archaic, earthy, and timeless. Rust, naturally derived pigments, texture, and fire were directly incorporated into the creative process. The materials remain visible in their own, original form—none of it is artificially created.
The image navigates between opposites: between the sound of the wind in the leaves and the immense energy of the Big Bang. Between the familiar and the incomprehensible. Between stillness and the force that precedes it.
